Anita the narrator and the focus of The Triumph of Being a Woman is the third and youngest daughter of a humble Punjabi family settled in Delhi post the partition. She is brought up in a closely knit joint family with a deep routed value system, surprisingly with a hint of liberal space and support for their daughters. Having grown up dreaming of a fairytale life with her Prince charming – reality was a stark contrast, but for Madhu winning at life was not an option, it was the only thing.
This is the story of dealing with three generations of struggles and the Triumph.
About The Author
Madhu is a seasoned HR Leader with over 3 decades of rich experience in various sectors including Hospitality, Real Estate, Retail and Entertainment. Until recently, as Sr. Executive Director (HR), Madhu has spearheaded the HR function for DLF Group.She has been responsible for a diverse multi generation workforce of more than 10000 employees (on roll and outsourced) across the country.She has successfully anchored and driven the people agenda through various phases of Company’s growth, transformation and expansion.
Her vision is for a workplace is an inclusive environment which ignites the energies of all stakeholders to closely align and work together to contribute towards and reap the fruits of organisation success.
